Here are some common questions from CDPAP Patients

Am I eligible to receive care?

If you live in New York, have Medicaid and need help with daily tasks, you are likely eligible for care. Contact us today to speak to an Ideal Home Health representative and learn more about your eligibility.

How much does this program cost? Is it free?

Medicaid pays for this program, and the services we provide are included in your coverage. This program is free for all members of Medicaid.

Who can I choose to be my caregiver?

If you sign up for CDPAP, you can choose a family member or friend to be your personal care assistant.

If you sign up for traditional home health aides, we will recommend a skilled aide that is trained in your specific care requirements.

Where are CDPAP services available?

CDPAP services are available to anyone living in the 5 boroughs of New York City, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx. If you live outside of the 5 boroughs, call us to inquire. We often can accommodate those living in Westchester, Suffolk and Nassau county. We can also service most other New York State counties.
